Keep Calm - Tea towel

The 'Keep Calm and Carry On' design has been reproduced from a British World War Two poster. The design has been screen printed in blue onto a lovely soft cotton tea towel, perfect for keeping calm in the kitchen!

The original poster was produced upon the outbreak of World War 2 as a means of allaying public fear. The poster was held in reserve for use only in times of extreme crisis. Although thousands were produced, only a handful ever saw the light of day.

Even today 'Keep Calm and Carry On' is a phrase which perfectly encapsulates the traditional British 'stiff upper lip!
