Three lovely new prints

added 19th July 2010

We're pleased to kick off this fine week by announcing the arrival of three brand new prints.

First up is this charming new limited edition print from Douglas Wilson.

Polaroid has been letterpressed by Douglas Wilson on his Vandercook printing press, using a photopolymer plate and the shape is double the size of a regular Polaroid. The quote is from Edwin Land, the genius inventor of the Polaroid camera.

Next up is a new print from the two of us (Lucas & Hayley!)

Be Merry is a fun print for the kitchen, dining room, or wherever merriment needs to be encouraged! We commissioned Hand & Eye Letterpress to create this print using their beautiful wooden type. Also available framed as shown.

Finally today we have a really stunning new limited edition print from Matthew Rose.

Les Affaires, a print based upon an enormous collage takes 'business as usual' to startling new heights and frighteningly new depths. "I live on a market street in Paris," says Matthew. "This happens every day."

The detail in this print has to be seen to be believed, please take a few moments to scroll through the additional close up images. Enjoy!

Thanks Daily Candy!

We received a lovely Daily Candy London email this morning. Their 'Off the Wall' story gave readers a rundown of Daily Candy's favourite online spots to find affordable art. We were thrilled to see Keep Calm Gallery featured in the piece, with Matthew Rose's 'End of the World' as the leading image!

Daily Candy's London site also features a slide show featuring their ten favourites in new affordable art. Four of these ten are available exclusively at Keep Calm Gallery!

Thanks Daily Candy!

Christmas in summer

added 15th July 2010

UPS pull up outside almost daily, like clockwork, to collect packages which will wing their way to our customers. Not often does the friendly UPS driver bring a package to give to us! We were so excited earlier this week to receive a rather handsome surprise package from the incredibly talented Johnny Cupcakes.

The package was crammed full of goodies. T-shirts, notepads, pens, stickers, sweets, badges, an umbrella and even a gift voucher! We love the umbrella so much we even had to open it indoors (oh dear!) We know that's going to come in handy this week!

You should definitely check out Johnny Cupcakes if you haven't already, Johnny has created a really fantastic brand. Check out the website by clicking here.

An enormous THANK YOU to Johnny (Santa Claus) Cupcakes!
