Inspired by the golden age of cinema, THE END II is part of a series of prints with which the artist pays homage to classical film and its use of typography.

In the THE END series, Richard Roberts scripts static finales to conclude his own imaginary movies. The resulting imagery is curiously both familiar and elusive, as it loosely references iconic pictures as well as cinematic periods.
